Today, Sozo has grown into a nationally recognized NGO (non-government organization) in Afghanistan. We have received accolades from the Ministry of Health for the model used at our clinics, one of holistic care partnered with community health education. Additionally, our education models serve the street-working children of Kabul and provide adult literacy and skills training to provide hope of a economically sustainable future.

DAV is a nonprofit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families, helping more than 1 million veterans in positive, life-changing ways each year. The organization provides more than 670,000 rides for veterans attending medical appointments and assists veterans with more than 292,000 benefit claims annually. In 2016, DAV helped attain more than $4 billion in new and retroactive benefits to care for veterans, their families and survivors.

The Maryland Troopers Association was organized in 1979 for the purpose of advancing the principles of professionalism in law enforcement and to facilitate a meaningful dialogue between employees and the Administration concerning issues of mutual concern. This Association contributes significantly to protecting the security of troopers, civilian MSP personnel and retirees.

The Maryland Flight Paramedics Association was organized for the purpose of advancing and supporting the work of nurses and paramedics operating in the aeromedical industry.
